I have a friend who just bought a Asus Cerberus 1050ti (4gb OC)
and he already has a
MOBO: Asus A88XM-E
CPU: AMD 860k (stock cooler)
OLD GPU: MSI 750ti (1 fan version)
8gb Ram DDR3
HDD 1TB WD Blue
the PSU is enough for the new Card and the build ?

Solution

It's a rather mediocre PSU, but it's better than the current one. Generally speaking, the Corsair CXs (the new ones with black-and-gray lettering) and the SeaSonic 520/620 PSUs are the least expensive that are recommendable.

But its was working perfectly fine, with the 750ti, and the other things, we haven't tried it yet with the 1050ti, its only using 15w more then his old card. So we'll see.

That's not how PSUs work. Just because they physically turn on does not mean they're delivering safe, clean, power to the PC. You can only verify a PSU is "working perfectly fine" with thousands of dollars in load testing equipment. It's a bit like saying a person who just died of a heart attack has a heart that was perfectly fine five minutes before the heart attack, when we know that's not true.

These are cutrate, junk parts, full of corner-cutting and the cheapest Chinese capacitors they can source.
