my new ram is not working!

I have a lenovo g50-80 laptop and bought a adata 4gb ddr3 1600mhz ram to increase my memory to 8gb but new ram is not working, I've tried using new ram only but my laptop wont boot, I also tried to boot with live linux disk but no luck.

Memory is guaranteed in the form sold. There are no guarantees when adding extra memory. Since the old memory has never been tested with the new memory, there are no guarantees they will work together.

I suggest using a single kit which has a lifetime guarantee.
