I'm trying to do a clean install of windows 10 on a modest gaming rig i'm building. It has a gigabyte GA AB350 socket AM4 mobo and an AMD Ryzen 7 processor. The graphics card is an Nvidia Gforce GTX 1050 Ti. I've been told that the processor does not have any on board graphics (is this true?) so I can only install windows with the graphics card present. I have the setup/driver disc that came with the graphics card. When l try to install windows 10 i get a message saying a media driver is missing. I've tried installing the included driver (from the disc) get the computer to recognise the driver. It searches for ages and then gives me a message saying I need an updated driver. i have downloaded the latest driver from Nvidia twice but they are not recongnised as being drivers by Windows. So I'm going round in circles. I've been in touch with Nvidia who couldn't help and pointed me here. Anyone any ideas? Help please.

No, you don't have processor graphics on the Ryzen 7.

The NVidia drivers should work, as long as you downloaded the correct one. I assume you went to their website and entered the specs of your card and your OS.....this is the driver you want http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/134070/en-us If it doesn't install on Windows 10, then either you don't have a 1050Ti (there are many cheap fakes out there), or your OS is corrupted.
