gtx 1060 3gb in 2018

hi guys soo big day for me tomorrow i buying a gtx 1060 3gb will it last atleast 3 to 4 years?i will usually play at *HIGH* settings in 1080p (i know gtx 1060 3gb can handle ultra but will downgrade to high for vram limitation) soo is it worth it ? im upgrading from a HD 6770 and tbh i have to play all games from 2015 till now xdd cause hd 6770 was just not enough... i will probably sell my gtx 1060 after volta comes out... and actually i would get more money after selling as gpu prices here are crazy xD

PC specs:
Ram: 8gigs
CPU : i5 3470
HDD : 1.5tb
Mobo : intel db75en
PSU : corsair VS450
GPU : HD 6670 (CURRENT)

It's going to be a massive upgrade over your current GPU but with Volta coming out in a couple of months I'd either wait or just buy the 1050 ti as a place holder card until Volta, and it would still be a huge step up from that 6670.

Agree, huge upgrade. I just feel 3gb VRAM has no headroom for the future, for the amount of gpu power and running 1080p I feel 3gb is the bare minimum today. It’s impossible to predict how limiting 3gb will be in the next few years but if games do see a continued increase in VRAM requirements 3gb could quite a limiting factor.

well im getting my gtx 1060 3gigs for gtx 1050ti price lmao. xDDD and if i sell i will get more money later as i already mentioned prices are huge massacre here.. the seller is actually closing his shop soo thats why im getting for such low price.

Sounds good, if pricing though is so expensive in your country though I can't imagine getting Volta at a reasonable price.

well in India every pc parts are expensive sigh... so i may or may not get more if i sell but probably i will get more money if i sell .. xD ( im not indian) ..... well thanks :D
