So I just got my SSD from Amazon and I have never installed one before. So from what I searched, I just have to plug in the cables and turn the PC on. I just want to move Windows to my new SSD for faster boot up, but without doing any backup on the HDD /formatting it/removing it from my PC( HDD has two partitions, one for personal files and stuff, the other for games)
I simply want to move Windows from HDD to SSD. What should I do? Should I use any softwares? I found one on Google,I'm just not quite sure yet, before I f@ck anything up. Any help would be highly appreciated!

Solution
Specific steps for a successful clone operation:
-----------------------------
Verify the actual used space on the current drive is significantly below the size of the new SSD
Download and install Macrium Reflect (or Samsung Data Migration, if a Samsung SSD)
Power off
Disconnect ALL drives except the current C and the new SSD
Power up
Run the Macrium Reflect (or Samsung Data Migration)
Select ALL the partitions on the existing C drive
Click the 'Clone' button
Wait until it is done
When it finishes, power off
Disconnect ALL drives except for the new SSD
This is to allow the system to try to boot from ONLY the SSD
Swap the SATA cables around so that the new drive is connected to the same SATA port as the old drive...

I've personally never used EaseUs so I cannot say how well it would work, When I installed mine I just wrote down my win key and reinstalled windows then cleared out my old partition after grabbing data I needed.

What brand SSD did you buy? Most come with a link to download cloning software and that's the best solution for most people; just copy your system to the SSD.
After that, personally I would make the HDD non-bootable to ensure that the system doesn't boot from the HDD by mistake.
This copies Windows, not moves it. Windows is still sitting on the old hdd.

To make the ssd bootable, you'll need to go into your BIOS and set the SSD as the first boot drive.

I've used Macrium Reflect Free to successfully move Windows over to an SSD. This video may help:

It's a laptop instead of a desktop, the BIOS screens will be different, and the SSD type is different - but the use case is exactly the same (migrating Windows from an HDD to an SSD).

Power up, and verify the BIOS boot order
If good, continue the power up

It should boot from the new drive, just like the old drive.
Maybe reboot a time or two, just to make sure.

If it works, and it should, all is good.

Later, reconnect the old drive and wipe as necessary.
Delete the 450MB Recovery Partition, here:

You can't clone "only windows"
Everything in that C partition goes.

Thanks for your help, I was able to install it without a problem using a clean Windows install. Everything is way faster wow. And one thing I noticed, after installing GTA V on the SSD, my fps is at a constant 60fps. When it was in the HDD, it dropped many times to 35-45-50 fps then went back to 60. Is this because of the data load time?(Since that's a huge open world game)
