NowTV Broadband - Using Own Router

Hi
I have just switched over to NowTV Broadband. I am up and running using their router but I actually have a high end Linksys modemrouter I want to use. Normally I just copy the WAN details from my ISP's router and everything works. However the NowTV router does not give me any WAN details.

I have called their customer service and they just refuse to help, even though I threaterned to cancel my subscription. They said look it up online?? Tried this and cannot find any information on how to do it, just people asking the same question.

Anyone got any ideas before I cancel? I really dont want to do that as I will be without internet until I can get a new ISP.

Thank you

Do you have admin access to the NowTV router?

Found the following link with the default login information:

https://community.nowtv.com/t5/NOW-TV-Combo/Router-default-username-password/td-p/420457

Try accessing the router via your browser and the IP address 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1

Use "What is my IP" to find the public IP address being assigned to your NowTV router.

REMEMBER: Do not post that IP address!

Failing the above, try calling again. You may find someone more knowledgeable and more willing to help.

However, overall, ISPs have not obligation to support devices that they do not provide.
