Getting a new PSU. Need help choosing a new one out.

So I've had issues with my current PSU. Its an EVGA Supernova G2 550w 80+ Gold. So I'm just about given up on resolving my issue. So I decided to cave and buy a new PSU with more wattage. 550 was working fine for a year until recently. So I decided to get a 650w or 700w depending on how they're priced. Is it a big difference between Bronze and Gold as I do not want raise the electric bill or is it negligible to it doesn't matter? Also, is there any PSU you recommend, I thought about going with EVGA again as I am familiar with them.

My Specs for my Strawberry Girl:
CPU: Ryzen 3 1200
GPU: MSI Nvida GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
Motherboard: MSI B350M Gaming Pro
RAM: RGB Trident Z 2x 8GB DDR4 (16GB of RAM in total)
Storage: 1TB Western Digital at 7200 RPM
PSU: EVGA Supernova G2 550w 80+ Gold

*None of my parts are overclocked, all stock clocks.

that's good psu, 550w is enough for your case, even if you decides to get a 2700x and 1080, i think the power supply is still fine.

you have to realize that as tech improve, power consumption remains more or less the same. newer cards usually maintain the same power draw number but with die shrink, it improves the performance.

Yeah, I agree, but I'm having issues when playing games on heavy load. I got a 7 year warrenty. I RMA'd and they sent a new one and the problem still persists. I updated my bios and and mobo drivers, graphics card driver. So with that said, I think a new PSU with just get me over this headache. I just wanna play games. T-T

What issue are you having if you don’t mind me asking, you should not have psu related issues with that setup. The issue may lie else where.

If you want a better psu, get a 750 g3. The different in power is about 20 -40cents a day

I doubt the the problem, because you’ve tried two PSUs. This build doesn’t even come close to 550w either. Using a higher wattage, crappier PSU would probably only add more problems.

Make sure you’re using only the cables provided with the PSU.

From the control panel could you disable reboot on BSOD? This will give us a better indication of the problem.

Yes, I was in a college dorm and now I'm back home and the problem still persists.

I would suggest trying something a little different. Go to your local best buy's / Frys/ hardware store and buy another power supply. Make sure it's one that will sufficiently power your system, but use a different brand. If the new one doesn't fix your issue, then it's not a power supply issue ( Don't forget to return the power supply to the store!! ). You'd need to do further testing, but I would suggest that it's probably your motherboard at that point. Welcome to IT 101 :D
