so put on the XMP function in my bios to get my ram up to 2400MHz like the instructions sad. But when i check the DRAM in windows with CPU-Z it says the DRAM frequency is 1200MHz

here are some pics from CPU-Z and BIOS : https://imgur.com/a/XY7bzRp

Solution
Oh man totally missed that one, you were already running 1200x2=2400, my bad thought I've seen 1066 as the main, you are all set then.

You probably did not save on exit after you made your changes to the Bios, give it another try and when Bios resets go in Bios again right away and check whether settings were saved ( check memory frequency)

- Thanks for the quick and pictured feedback, what is the 100.000? if it has an auto setting switch it to it ans see how it goes.
- Ram voltage on auto too
- Known issue discrepancy between CPUz and Bios especially when 4 modules of ram are installed
- Known issue memory controller down clocking memory in some circumstances especially when 4 modules are installed

_ sometimes manually setting DDR speed (double checking voltage and timings accordingly) instead of using the XMP overclock settings works better.

oke i whent back to the bios its the BLCK ratio there is no auto mode for it but 100 is the default
also i found a post on this forum where they say i have to doubble the frequency that is showing in cpu z to get mine and if i doubble that i get the 2400MHz
