I have a windows 10 computer with a ssd and a hdd

I havent checked my hard drive space in a few weeks and today i noticed that it got filled up with 290 gb of ''temporary files'' according to windows storage manager.

I cannot delete them as it wont say where they are stored nor gives me an option do delete them in the storage settings. It gives me an option to empty my bin, but that doesnt help as it is empty.

I tried all of the posible solutions that were given on other blogs but none of them work.

I dont have windows installed on this hard drive and i also didnt fill it up.

Another option would be a virus of some sort but all of the anti-malware programs didnt find a single trace of a virus.

I still have 10gb of space left but that is not exactly much compared to 290 gb of unknown wasted space.

Any help with this concern would be appreciated.

I had it on 0%. I've put it up to 1% to see if it makes a difference.

Well, apparently all of my space is used like it should be used. A bit weird that i got 300 gb of temp files but when i checked on windirstat i didnt find any anomalies. Cant find the reason nor the files that are designated as temporary files.

It doesnt help. It doesnt even detect them, let alone delete them.
