What motherboard and cpu for use with Windows Server 2016 R2 essentials

I am in the process of building a home server will be running windows server 2016 r2 essentials, I am looking for suggestions for a budget build and specifically what motherboard and cpu to you. I have heard issues with certain motherboards and driver compatability with windows server. trying to keep the cost down so $400.00 for the build would be ideal.

For home server you can use this.

Intel core i5 2400 .................processor
Gigabyte h61 motherboard. .................Motherboard
8gb ddr3 1333mhz kingston .................RAM
2tb seagate barracuda.. ................HDD
Nvidia geforce gt 710 2gb ddr5........GPU
Corsair vs 450......... ................Smps

Because you are going to use only as home server so this is best. If you want intel xeon processors so they are very expensive. And only some cpus go out of budget.

So this is better for home server as in budget.
