I just bought 4gb DDR3 1600mhz hynix ram. I had 2gb DDR3 1333mhz Zion ram. I just inserted it in second slot, the 4gb 1600mhz. Then I played GTA V the fps was about 13, then my uncle's friend told remove the Zion ram and insert hynix 4gb in 1st slot, omg the speed increase with fps, now it was about 15-16. Then I noticed in task manager, performance it says ram speed 1333mhz, the ram original speed is 1333mhz. Why did it deceased even I removed the 2gb 1333mhz ram? Is there any solution to get back 1600mhz speed or else the task manager says wrong speed. Please reply and please help. I'm messed up. I don't wanna waste my money. It cost me 2200 INR. Please help!

Solution
Mixing RAMs of different speeds usually leads to some kind of incompatibility, either all the way (won't BOOT) or lower performance. When you change RAM configuration, you are also required to reset CMOS/BIOS and/or change BIOS settings for memory. Modern systems/memory also have XMP profile which when you enable sets speed and other parameters to predetermined values.
