Hello community! I recently bought a completly new parts for my new PC. I choosed Intel Core i7 8700 paired with Asus z370-A PRIME and 16GB's of DDR4 3000MHZ RAM Plus for this GTX 1080. To lower the Temperature of Processor i used AiO cooling from NZXT called Kraken x52. I've noticed that my CPU is rocking at 1.3 Core voltage which were making my cpu suffer cause of high temoeratures. I went into bios and changed the VCORE to 1.184 and temperatures at idle are from 39 to even 45. The Question is. Aren't these should be lower? Like they should'nt be going around 30 and less? How you guys think? What should i do to make the temps going lower?

The temperatures in idle are of little importance. They are very dependent on the temperature of the room. It is very difficult to get below the temperature of the room + 10 ºC / +15ºC.

go to advance mode in the bios turn of mce it keeping all the cores at max turbo causing the extra heat.

It seems to me that the MCE only operates on the unlocked processors, because after all it is an overclock. Then in a locked processor like the I7-8700 it does not have any effect to put it on or off.
