Hello everyone!

First post here, I've fixed so many things lurking on this site for quite some time, so for that I thank you and I vastly appreciate all the help that you may have to offer regarding this issue, as I can't seem to find any help, as, unfortunately I'm having a fairly odd and specific problem that I'm not sure how to address and I was wonding if you'd be so kind as to provide some input:

Firstly, I run an i7-6850k on an x99 Gaming Carbon MSI motherboard using a corsair AIO watercooler (h100i v2) -

All out of the blue today, my CPU temperature rose far beyond what it's been sitting at for the last few months. Usually it'd idle at about 36c, and now it idles in the higher 50s and just surfing the web it can push 60c, all while the CPU usage stays almost always below 10%. When I ran a game, it was pushing 70c which I'd never seen before.

The cooler's pump and RPMs are running at the same speed as they always have. All my fans are constantly running at 100% presumably because they're trying to keep the rising CPU heat at bay.

I can't find any hidden or otherwise demanding processes or applicaitons. Would this likely be a cooler issue, or more likely the CPU?

Any input is much appreciated and thanks for reading!

If you still receive a very high temp readout, check the thermal paste. Has the ambient temperature risen? If so, that will also factor into your temps.
