NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti reaching 80 degrees C

Hi,

i recently bought a new computer with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, while gaming it easily reaches 70-80 degress C
should i be afraid?

(keep in mind i have a duel monitor setup)

i've read that upping the fan speed might help but in that case how much ? its usually at 68 % by defaullt.

After several hours of gaming, my 1050ti gets close to 70 degrees C, if not higher. I think the highest I've seen it go was 72C. I wouldn't be worried unless it does it in a short amount of time.

Pretty normal. I'd look into putting new thermal paste on it?

It's perfectly fine. You should start worrying when the card reaches temperatures of >90 degrees.

NVIDIA has on their website the the max safe temp is 97 degrees, so you're good

You can go into BIOS and change fan settings. Increasing airflow might lower temps giving you better performance, the card will be able to boost to higher clock speeds for longer
