I am 100% new to PC building and I want to build my first one. It has a GTX 1070 so it can last a bit longer then the 3 years my current one did. I wanted to ask if these are good parts or I should change anything;

Intel - Core i7-4790K 4GHz Quad-Core Processor
Cooler Master - Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
Asus - Z97-A ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
G.Skill - Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
Toshiba - 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Asus - GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Video Card
Corsair - 200R ATX Mid Tower Case
Corsair - CX 430W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply

The CPU and the hard drive come from my current pc and I wanted to re-use them.

It's not more complicated, just a different form factor. I bet they make a very similar, if not the same motherboard to the z97-a in that form factor.

Good parts, yes. However they're a bit dated which puts you -4 four years in the hole to when you'll need to upgrade again.
I'd stay away from that case as it doesn't have perforated front panel so intake is going to be negatively affected. Especially if your graphics card is open air. Graphics cards 1070 or higher should have at least a 500w power supply.

I chose most of the parts from recommendation from other people about other builds, I'm not sure what to choose. I took the RAM because it isn't crazy expensive like some others. The CPU is just old because I already have it, hard drive too. I took the motherboard just because it's compatible with my CPU and I see good things about it, other ones I tried say they aren't compatible. Maybe some recommendations for the parts?

I would change the case and PSU, personally i would go with a phanteks p300 for about $10-$15 more and i would go with at least a 500w PSU.

But i wouldn't listen to me, I can't even get my own damn PC working after fucking with it for 11 months.

I don't know what to expect from motherboards at all actually. However I heard from someone that building a PC with a Micro ATX makes it more complicated or something, I have no idea. But I found people recommending the z97-a even today in combination with the i7-4790k. But if you think the other board is better I might try that.
