So basically i found a similar build of this in the internet but when the guy made benchmarks you could totally see the cpu bottleneck (btw it's NOAB). It's a good build by itself cheap and can run some of the new games but i wonder if it is possible to upgrade it so it doesn't bottleneck
CPU: AMD Athlon X4 860K, 2C/4T, 3.7 GHz
Mobo: Asus A68HM-PLUS, Micro ATX
RAM: 2x4GB HyperX Fury DDR3, 1600 MHz
Cooler: Stock AMD Cooler
GPU: Sapphire Toxic R9 270X, 2GB
PSU: EVGA 600 W1, 80+ White
Case: DIYPC MA08-BK, Micro ATX/Mini ITX
HDD: 3.5" WD Enterprise 500GB, 7200 RPM

The Sapphire Toxic R9 270X, 2GB
Isn't the most situable GPU for the AMD Athlon X4 860K, 2C/4T, 3.7 GHz
And k wonder if there's a better option out there .

My old i7-950 fared pretty well even with a 1080 Ti. It scores a bit higher on Passmark than your 860k, but I'm not sure an old X4 Athlon would handle a modern GPU as well as it did.

As for the modern GPUs and pricing, if you insist on an AMD card, the RX 580s are coming down in price quite a bit. I've seen them as low as $230 at Newegg on their email subscriber promo deals.

Make sure you check to see if they charge sales tax in your state though. They used to not in my state, but now they charge it, and it's 10%.

You're on a very old platform though, so I would plan on upgrading that soon too. Even a 580 is not going to fare very well going forward if you want to play all games at max settings at 1080p.
