New HP Chromebook x2, viable?

So the new HP Chromebook enables downloading android apps now, apparently. This is good news as i'm aware chromeOS is really limited with what you can use on it.

I'm thinking of purchasing this model: https://www.anandtech.com/show/12626/hp-chromebook-x2

Seems cheap and decent spec but have questions on compatibility. Comes with a stylus and a touch screen and was wondering if I loaded linux on to it, would the stylus work? I've seen Adobe PS CC 2017 loaded using WINE onto a chromebook with linux, but was I thought to myself, will ChromeOS support Photoshop CC now? Taking into consideration the android apps feature!

Anyone else think this project is worth taking on? I've not much experience with linux OS and could be a good opportunity to learn! If anyone wants to know, I make crappy websites on my AMD a9 4GB laptop from 2014 and looking to upgrade to a fancy tablet because i like nice things.

Thanks, George.

If CC is your ultimate goal - add $100, and you can get a Surface.

Chromebook-to-Linux-to-Wine, expecting the pen to work as a real pen is a way too long shot.
