So I Got a new CPU Cooler for my i7 920 because the stock dell cooler sounded like a jet taking off. Now being the stupid person that I am, I wasted most of the thermal paste, and now I have it applied to my CPU but my CPU is hovering around the High 50s to low 60s at idle and one of its cores reached 80°C in a 2 minute AIDA64 Stress Test. I think I applied the thermal paste wrong. I was looking for a cheapish thermal paste and found the Cooler Master IC Value V1. Will it be fine for my CPU? I don't intend to overclock. The CPU Cooler is a Cooler Master Hyper TX3 EVO.
