So i recently bought a ryzen 2400g processor with hopes of gaming on a bit of a budget, at least until prices for GPUs starts to drop. i also purchased an x370 board, but i decided to use a stick of corsair vengeance 8 gb 2133 mhz i had already. When i tried to run any game, it seems that the ram is not sufficient for both the cpu and igpu. The results were that the game would start out at around 20 fps, and slowly drop to 1 frame per second. Based on what task manager told me when i was attempting to run fallout, the cpu was at 90% utilization and the igpu was at 10%, with 2 GB of RAM being dedicated to vega 11, and the other 6 being used for the cpu. Is this indeed a RAM problem, or something else entirely? if it is a ram problem, should i go with two sticks of 8 gb, 3000 mhz?

Solution
APU uses system RAM and that's quite slower than DDR5 dedicated GPUs have. Fast RAM is quite necessary for APU. Frequency as much as amount.
