PC doesn't start. Is Ram dead?

I bought 2x4 GB Ram 3 years ago, and it worked without problems, now today my PC did not start.

After turning it on it started to boot, but there was nothing on the screen, and it restarted itself every 10 sec or so.

I figured out the problem is with one of the RAM, if I take it out the PC works normally, if I insert it back (I tried several slots) it does not work. Does that mean the RAM died?

Is it normal that the RAM just dies after 3 years so suddenly?

Ram sticks can go dead on you for various reasons. Maybe a brown out at your house, or some other issue. Is the RAM stick still under warranty? If you still have your parts receipt, you should be able to get an RMA and replace it.

so RAM could potentially cause issues close to what your describing but if it is restarting every 10 min. it sounds like it could be an overheating issue however is the operating system loading to your desktop every time or does it restart before you get to login to your PC?
if it is not getting to your desktop it could be a corrupt O.S., Bad RAM, CPU (ive seen strange issues before although not common) or HDD/SSD issues
-let me know if its loading the O.S. to your desktop

- It is every 10 sec, not 10 min. PC not even boots properly, there is no display, or anything else.
- There was no brown out my house, I also have UPS.
- Yes it is under warranty, so I can replace it, however I expect it will take time.

ok mine boots to desktop in about 10 sec lol
so your saying it is consistent at 10 seconds it reboots
I would turn off pc unplug power cable then depress power button for 5 sec. then after that try taking out one stick of RAM, switching RAM slots etc. every combo possible and see what happens after each switch re power on your pc to see if anything changes
also if you have any spare compatible RAM just try that as well

Yes I have already tried that, as I have two rams.

If I take out "B" ram & "A" ram remains in PC - PC boots

If I insert "B" ram into any of the slots - PC does not boot
If insert "A" ram into any of the slots - PC boots

The gold standard for testing ram is memtest86.
You should be able to complete a full pass with NO errors.
Test each stick individually; likely one of them is bad.
Test a known good stick in each ram slot to see if the motherboard slot is bad.

Ram usually has a lifetime warranty.
If you have a defective stick, be prepared to send the whole 2 stick kit back for replacement.
Ram not in a single kit is not supported.

I know that the ram is bad, however my question was the following initially:

"Is it normal that the RAM just dies after 3 years so suddenly?"

I don't think it is possible to test it, if the PC can't start up with the RAM in it?
