i was just wondering what FPS' people are getting with similar specks to me. cause i feel like i should be getting better.

main example is Ghost recon wild lands.
and btw i have a GTX 1080ti, i7 8700k, and 16GB 3000MHz DDR ram. and game is on an SSD

basically on 2k (with vsync [cause i get crazy screen tearing without it]) (2560 x 1440) max settings i get anywhere between 28 -60 fps and 28 seem kinda unnecessarily low. and that is not like a drop to 28. its like consistent in certain areas.

Solution
I also play GR:W and get a varied range of frame rates maxed out on 1920*1200. I've got an FX8350 @ 4.5, 16GB RAM, on a OC'd 1080. I get basically the same range of stuff you're seeing though I would say I'm pretty consistent around 45 FPS if not more. The game is resource hog for sure and I'm thinking it is more to do with the game's optimization than either of our setups. I know I'm bottlenecking my 1080 but I've not yet had a reason to buy a new monitor or build a new rig.

Which display?
What do you get with the benchmark?
And yes, that game can be a resource hog if you set to the max, try running one notch down from max and dropping the AA to minimum, the difference in quality between the two settings isn't that big and at 2K rez you probably don't need too much AA anyway ( and this is THE setting to avoid if you're seeing low frame rates BTW ).
