Dear community,

My old motherboard Asrock h61m-vs died and I want to replace it with a new one.
I have to use a motherboard that uses LGA socket 1155, so that I can just move all the working components into the new motherboard.

I was thinking of buying a ASRock Z77 Extreme4, but are there better ones? The desktop will be used for gaming. I also have to buy a new graphics card for it. My budget for the motherboard is between 50$ - 100$.

Thanks in advance.

At least over here it is difficult to get new socket 1155 motherboards. Usually a good source is eBay where you can also find good deals within the given budget.
Would suggest to go for Asus instead of ASRock as I don't find ASRock reliable and have heard too many times that these things broke.

I look for h77 chipset. Z77 is overpriced, and can be damaged by overclockers, etc. Just look one, with good windows 10 support. Get i7-3770 from refurbished or office pc and I think you will be good few years ahead, or until windows 10 stops support.
