I was serching for new psu because my current psu doesnt support gtx 950 and i didnt really want to spend that much money.

I found two psu one of them is cheaper but it has 8pin gpu power connector and the one has 16pin.

So do i have to pic the 16 pin one?

There's no such thing as a 16-pin GPU connector. The power connection for a GPU will either be a 6-pin or a 6+2 (a 6-pin with a detachable extra 2 pins to make 8).

What are the *exact* power supplies? We're flying blind here.

That was my initial thought, but he's got a 950! I agree, we need a lot more information here.

GTX950 usually needs only a 6 pin connector which can be found on a 380w psu.

But, do not buy a cheap psu.

A cheap PSU will be made of substandard components. It will not have safety and overload protections.
If it fails under load, it can destroy anything it is connected to.
It will deliver advertised power only at room temperatures, not at higher temperatures found when installed in a case.
The wattage will be delivered on the 3 and 5v rails, not on the 12v rails where modern parts
like the CPU and Graphics cards need it. What power is delivered may fluctuate and cause instability
issues that are hard to diagnose.
The fan will need to spin up higher to cool it, making it noisy.
A cheap PSU can become very expensive. Do not buy one.
