Hi everyone! I have a fresh new installation of the latest version of Windows 10 Pro, and generally have a responsive and solid build. Quick stats: Asus X370-F Gaming motherboard with 20Gb of RAM, and 7 hard drives for a little extra space lol... I have a problem where my browser, or a fair sized program, seems to really lag, throughout it's load or activity. I sometimes get a message that I have exhausted my cache. (my words) wHAT SPECIFICALLY CAN i DO TO REMEDY THIS?

Thanks so much!

I would recommend a fixed (min and max the same) pagefile size of 16384 on ONE of the many disks you have.

You didn't answer what program is giving you the cache size error ...

20GB of RAM is an odd size. It is at least partially running in single channel mode, with an AM4 it may all run as single channel. What application is giving the error? It sounds like a JAVA error.
Do you have a pagefile enabled?

Have you tried running with just the two 8GB DIMMs?

Thanks for the reply. I was a bit worried about the dimm channels initially also, but the difference from my twin 8s to now has been negligible. Yes my pagefile I increased to about 3800. Are there any other things I can do?
