Installed Windows 10 Pro using Media Creation Tool which comes loaded with the latest updates/versions. This installed 1803 version which further removes Homegroups which is fine since I don't use it. However it appears, according to the net, it also disabled a lot of sharing options which does affect me.

As of now none of the Windows 10 computers see each other. Two of them are fresh installs. We can see the Windows 7 share files. But no windows machines see the Windows 10 CPUs and Amazon Firesticks don't see the media share folders either.

I've done just about every help, answerbook, guide dealing with Windows 10 1803. None of them have allowed these two machines to be able to share with each other and firesticks.

Went into Services, made sure Function Discovery Services are set to Automatic and running. Also made sure SSDP and UPnP Device Host was running.
Went into Turn Windows Features On or OFF, made sure SMB 1.0 CFS was checked.
Reset network.
Disabled Windows Firewall. Disabled Avast.
Turn sharing on and off.
Set it from Private network to Public Network. Set up sharing again.

I can ping the machines, both machines can see each other. At least in Network, they see the computer icon and name.

This was a freshly formatted hard drive. New install of windows. Updated. Installed video drivers. Installed 2 games and then stopped as I discovered the sharing issue. The second computer was freshly installed and the same thing.

I'm out of ideas.

We've had no issues, as of yet, with our NAS. Although that was what prompted clean installs, we got a Synology 918 for data backup. Before then the media share folder was a shared on my computer, but we also have other shared folders between wife's and my computer. After a fresh install of Win 10 1803, neither of those computers can see other or rather they see the computer name, but can't actually connect to any of the share folders. Nor can I go to \\PCNAME either CPC-A to CPC-B or vice versa. Consequently since the media share at the sime was on my computer, both the Amazon Firesticks can't see it anymore either.
