Is this 1050ti compatible with my PC?
(KFA2 GeForce GTX 1050 TI EX OC White 4GB DDR5 128-bit)

The latest official BIOS for that board is sadly from 2012, but they also have a beta BIOS from 2013 (version L2.31A) which claims to support UEFI GOP (graphics output protocol). That is likely all that is needed, but you can certainly try even without flashing first and see how it goes. You can always use your integrated GPU to flash the latest version if it doesn't work for some reason. Here is the link with downloads:

You just need to update your BIOS and it should work.
 
If it is already the latest version, you don't have to. In fact, it is highly likely that you won't have to even if it is not - but some older boards have quirky support for 1xxx series of GPUs if the BIOS is not the latest.

Other than that, I must notice that you will actually perform a downgrade in terms of performance - 1050Ti is approximately 20-25% slower than 7970 fopr gaming. But is uses 3-4x less power and is quieter and cooler, and later tech with more recent drivers. You might have picked it for the latter reasons.
