Here are the specs.
So you can go up to 16GB of DDR3-1600.
There are two slots...so you would get two sticks of 8 each if you wanted to go to 16 GB.
....or two sticks of 4 each for 8 GB.

I'm not real good with recommendations.
When I buy RAM...I buy RAM to spec and that's all I do....and it almost always works good enough for me. Kingston has worked well for me...but I have used totally generic memory just fine too and everything in between.
I do try to stick with "sets" though.
