Lowered cpu voltage stopped pc posting, resetting cmos has not fixed it

So last night I inadvertently dropped the voltage so low on my cpu the pc refused to post. No display output and no lights on keyboard.

I posted this: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-3709940/accidentally-reduced-cpu-voltage-msi-b350.html

The suggestions to try resetting cmos by battery pull/jumper switch have all been followed now and still the same problem persists

So where do I now go? Im assuming that somehow the reduced voltage has killed a component (and entirely possible that in my frustrated state last night I damaged something getting to the jumper switch)

I’ve taken both sticks of ram out and got cpu and dram debug leds lit up - is that normal? Or an indication that the cpu is at fault?

Any suggestions on how to trouble shoot from here would be much appreciated

P.s. Ryzen 5 1600 (dropped to 0.928v)

You can only achieve getting to the bios by resetting the cmos then. If taking your cmos battery out for 24hours didn't work, then maybe it is screwed. I would try two more things though. The cheaper ryzen cpus run on much lower clock speeds. I would try two things:

1. Pull out ram , cpu and cmos battery. Plug the power supply into the motherboard and start it up. It will obviously not start up, but maybe it will somehow clear the cmos. If after that and inserting the cpu, ram and cmos battery (obviously also a gpu) it doesn't start up then once again remove everything, but cmos battery and again start it up, even though it will not start, but it will recieve the power. Then insert the cpu, ram and a gpu and see if it works. I hope that you understood what I ment. I am sorry for explaining it with not the best way, but I am tired.

2. Try to go to a local computer shop. They will have ryzen cpu's. Ask them to put in the crappiest one that they have (like ryzen 1200 or even something like a12-9800) and let them try to post with the motherboard. They will increase the voltage and maybe this will work. If they can't do anything and the motherboard doesn't post, just rma it or buy a new motherboard.

Have a great day! :)
