Recently i have upgraded my Dell Optiplex 7020 with this new GPU.
after using it for a week the gpu fans work but the monitor doesn’t read it (Save power mode).
i uninstall the gpu driver and restart my computer to check if there is a software issue.
the monitor works properly but the driver wasn’t installed so the resolution wasn’t ok
i start to install the gpu driver after the installation finished my screen goes black again
i try to use this gpu on another computer and still the same issue.
i exchange the GPU from the vendor with a new one.
now i need to be sure that accident wasn’t related to my power supply as GPU consumes (75W) and requires power supply provides (300 W) and my power supply provides (290W).
last note my pc was running GT 740 which requires (300w) and consuming (65w) for more one year without any problems
