Is this all i need to upgrade?

So im buying new parts for my pc cause it sucks. Right now i have a AMD FX 6350 proscessor with 16gb ddr3 ram and a amd r9 380 graphics card 2gb vram. Im going to be upgrading and i will buy all the stuff listed. A 6gb Gtx 1060, Ryzen 5 1600 3.2ghz processor, an am4 socket motherboard and 16gb ram ddr4. Heres my questions. Is this all i need, Is this upgrade worth it. Also do motherboards matter cause the am4 socket one im getting is 100 dollars. Gigabyte GA-AB350-Gaming 3 AM4 ATX AMD Motherboard thats what its called. And one more question. Is this build good for VR? Thanks!

are you sure cause on the vive website look at the reccommended specs. If im wrong correct me. Scroll near the bottom https://www.vive.com/us/product/vive-virtual-reality-system/

I had a 1060 in one of my customer's PC's and it was not a very good experience for VR so I recommended as such. However, various factors affect performance, so it depends.
