Game audio doesn't play through speakers

Hi, I bought a pair of logitech speakers and I really don't like to use headphones unless I'm playing competitive games. For some reason, FFXV and Forza Horizon 3 wont play audio through my speakers. I'm sure there are other games that I haven't played yet that will do the same thing.

Whenever you install a new audio device or drivers you have to go into the Windows sound panel and designate it as default playback device.

Sorry, thought I implied that other games worked. I know how to change audio sources it's just that certain games don't want to play through my speakers

Actually you didn't make that clear. You just mentioned two games that aren't and assumed others wouldn't as well.

What audio device are you going through, and how do you have your sound panel configured?
