Motherboard : gigabyte ga-h61m-ds2
Processor : Intel Pentium G2030
Ram : 8 gb ddr3
2 TB Segate Hard disk
600 Watt PSU
Windows 7 64-bit OS
Monitor : 1920 x 1080 (LG)

I use the system for gaming alone and i don't plan on upgrading my monitor. I need to run the games at 1920 x 1080 resolution without lagging or bottleneck.

I want to buy
Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1060 6 gb Windforce oc edition.

So my concern is rest of the components. They work fine so i would like to avoid upgrading them if its possible. Do i need to upgrade my motherboard and processor or any other components?

yep, you may buy a 3rd or 2nd gen I7 or I5 cause you got the weakest cpu your mobo can handle, you really really need a new cpu , or you would never enjoy any game with the 1060 6GB, if you leave that cpu there it'll hold the 1060 down, its like having a gtx 760 or even worst, good luck my friend, and a 2nd gen i5 or i7 is really worth it you will notice a huge speed difference
If you can upgrade to a used 3rd Gen i5 or faster with relative cheap cost $50’ish. It will be a decent gaming rig, otherwise you will need like 300 minimum to get a new platform (ryzen or coffee-lake, mobo , 8 gb ddr4 ram)
