RAM upgrade question

Hi everyone,

hopefully a quick question for the experts in RAM field.

I've got Asrock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 motherboard and Kingston 2x4gb 1333MHz RAM. Im looking to upgrade to 16gb. Am I better buying 2x4gb 1333MHz stick or spend more money and replace it with 2x8gb (maybe with 1866 or 2133...)

Im looking for the best buy/solution since im not doing any hard ram jobs like autocad/video rendering. Im curious about the REAL impact i would feel between 4x4gb 1333MHz and 2x8gb 1866 (for example) if any?

Since you already have a 2x4gb kit, another 2x4gb kit should suffice. As a reminder, it's always better to have matching ram sticks per pair or even better to have a matching set of 4. If you go with another 2x4gb kit, be sure to pay attention to the frequency and timings of it.
