I got my new mobo, cpu in december.
I swapped memory with my sister for a few weeks so I had an extra ddr4 dim (4gb).
I used 12 gb in January 3x4gb with same bios and it worked.
Now I tried the same thing but it saidthat 8gb was allocated to hardware not usable and even in the bios it said that there was only 4gb of ram usable but it detected the 12gb.

From what i read did you mix ram which can lead to problems. What if you take the added stick out, reset the bios to optimal default values (or do clear cmos) and see if you get normal ram usage again. Might want to enable XMP again after reset of bios if needed for best settings for the ram.

But it worked with same phisical sticks a few months ago.
I have reset the bios 3 times to normal settings.

System specs?

download hwinfo,
install and open it=click run,
close the top window which is the system summary,
in the main window at the left top click "save report",
at the bottom of the next window check "short text report",
after that you'll see what's in the pc,
copy by clicking "copy to clipboard" and rightclick+paste in your next respons

Still it sounds like you didn't try just the original two sticks.

The original works fine but I'd like to get the 3rd working as well.
R5 1500x@3.95ghz
Asus B350 Prime latest bios but tryed the one that worked a few months ago but no luck
Gigabyte Gtx 1050ti d5
450w chieftec psu

Maybe but i like this way which gives a very clean overlook and it's an usefull tool anyway. Can look at voltages, temps and such with it as well. It's imo a good addition to a pc,but that's me.

For sensor readings could you this with hwinfo and see how things are running,

open it,
check "sensors-only",
click "run".

Since the two original sticks run fine is the third stick a problem, you might be able to add some voltage to the dram and/or the memory controller, but it might not help.

Currenty running at 2133mhz so it should be able to hit it if it works and when i install it it uses that 3rd stick and the 2 main ones are "reserwed for hardware"

see? Very simple layout.

Anyway, seems your ram sticks are in A1+B1 where recommended by Asus it says with two sticks to use A2+B2. Since the ram works at a voltage of 1.2V is there still room to add abit.
Try it with three sticks, use the ones in the pc right now in A1+A2 (two slots closest to the cpu) and add the third stick in the B2 slot (furthest from the cpu).Add abit of voltage to the Dram voltage so set it ti 1,25V at first, means adding 0.05V,see if this will help. Can go up to 1.35V by adding 0.05V each time.

Also set the SOC voltage to 1.1V for some more stability on the memory controller. Can't find this one in that summarily manual of the motherboard so check if it's there.

Might also see if setting the OC on the cpu to 3.9ghz gives more stability on the ram as well. Can first try at stock settings and get the ram stable, then try overclocking again.

If none of these steps help i'm probably at the end of what i can recommend and is the third stick just not compatibel.

I tried The voltage increseases( I suspected that it wouldn't work becouse the ram was detected it was just grouped in a bad way) That didn't work.
Tried top put the ram in A1-2(original 2 sticks) b1 than b2 for the oter one, that didn't work.
So I put the ram back where it was and tried again... it didn't work tried swapping the 2 original ram stick from A1toB1 the 3rd was in between ,that didn't work, I swapped it back to the position where it was 2 minutes ago and it worked.
I finaly have 12gb thank you for your help.
