My pc is just a g4560 and gtx 750ti with a monitor, ssd, keyboard and mouse. No disk drives. So i think 500 watts should be enough since the graphic card says it needs 300w mimimum. Can u help me pick the best 500 to 600w psu below $150 from this list which will last long?http://best-bargain-computers.com/product-category/power-supplies/page/3/?orderby=price . Its because my psu coolermaster 550 i bought spoiled within a year so i would not prefer coolermaster. I would prefer the full modular one. I got another qns. I read that full modular will sometimes have resistance problem compared to non-modular and the wire can come loose. Is that true? Can a burst capacitor on the motherboard cause any problems? I was playing game when i heard a pop sound and burning smell. Then my pc auto restarted and everything was back to normal.

No unless the fan doesn't spin for quite some time and dust builds up on it although some newer mid-high range cases have dust filters where the PSU is to avoid this, or just turn ECO mode off. Also with a high end PSU there should be built in safeguards to avoid against any kind of electrical fire or malfunction.

Hey i bought the 650w version since it was the same price. I see that it has that eco mode on and it says in the manual that the fan only turns at certain temperatures. Previously my old psu fan sometimes stops spinning due to dust so i had to move it with a pencil to make it move. So regarding the eco mode, if the dust makes the fan not move and it becomes too hot, will it spoil or catch fire even on eco mode? I just want to be safe.
