So I got this (has good reviews and not many other people have this problem) wireless adapter a few weeks ago and I've noticed it likes to disconnects randomly. I tried things from disabling the "allow the computer to turn this device off," to reinstalling the drivers, to assuming it's overheating and putting it by a fan, and to other things I don't quite remember. However over these weeks I just started to notice a pattern. It disconnects every few hours (not every hour as far as I've noticed). As an example, It'll be x:44 and it'll disconnect right before turned to x:45. I noticed it did it at 5:44 and just now at 7:44. I'm not sure if it depends on when I start my computer, or if it's x:44 all the time. I just want to know if there's anything else I can try that will fix this issue. I still have another month on my warranty, so worst case scenario I send it back and get a new one.
Thanks in advance!

You may have a short lease time on your DHCP. Run a cmd.exe window. Type "ipconfig /all" Look for the word lease. That will show you how long the DHCP lease is. Your computer renews the lease after it is 1/2 way done. If you have a short DHCP lease that could explain it. You would change the router to change the duration of the lease.
