Laggy pc, need suggestions on what to replace

Hello! I want to start streaming video games and such, but my streams are always laggy, and really low frame rate. I need suggestions. Here are my internet and PC specs:

Upload speed - 1.19 mbps
Download speed - 12.2 mbps

Processor - AMD a4 6300 APU with Radeon HD graphics

RAM - 16 gb
System type - 64 bit

If you need more information just let me know, please let me know what I need to change in order for this PC to stream! I’m also not a computer expert, so I might ask a lot of questions. Thanks!

You know what? I forgot you would need a GPU... that system wouldn't work without a GPU.

The CPU comes with thermal paste on the cooler so you wouldn't need that.
You would have to reinstall your Operating System because you are switching motherboards.

I would recommend the Ryzen 5 2400G because it has integrated graphics capable of gaming; but AMD does not have the budget motherboards to go with it. You would have to update the bios with a different compatible...

Hello,

Your CPU and (and compatible motherboard) are somewhat old and outdated now. You would need to upgrade your CPU/Mobo/RAM (to DDR4) to get a decent streaming PC. Also, you will need a GPU depending on the games you play.

What would your budget be for all this?

Hmm, I didn’t realize it was all of that. I don’t exactly have a budget. Do you have an estimated cost for upgrading my PC to a good streaming PC? Also could you suggest things to buy that would be compatible with my PC? I appreciate the help a lot !

You would basically be building a new PC. Nothing good is compatible with your PC. You would have to pay nearly just as much for used CPU and motherboard as you would for a new (different compatibility) CPU/Mobo.

This would be a good streaming system, though 16GB of RAM would be better. RAM is expensive right now.

I appreciate you taking your time out of your day to help me out. Thank you so much! One last question: I just buy those three things and install it into my computer and I could stream good? Do I need any additional things like thermal glue or anything to that extent?

Integrated graphics are for very budget systems.

I'd have to let you tell me your budget to recommend a GPU for the other system. GPUs are expensive right now also.

And the other guy is right. I your internet connection is important. If you have a slow upload speed you won't be able to stream even with the most expensive PC.

I have slow upload of <1Mbps and I simply cannot stream.

*I just realized your upload speed in your first post. That's not very good. :/
