Hi all, need some help. I am using the following setup:
Mobo: Asus B250i
CPU - i5 7500
GPU - Asus GTX 1060 6GB
RAM - 16gb Corsair Vengeance RGB (x8gb)
PSU - Corsair TX 550

Recently, I've experienced screen blackout even when surfing.
I had watercooled my system (both CPU & GPU), been running for like 4mths without any issues.
I dont OC my pc.
I do not know why suddenly the screen black out... but the pc is still running, cos i can hear the sound of the games in the background.

Please help, thank u.
Kenneth

That is problem with cabling. Probably the power or HDMI cable running to monitor is getting disturbed which is causing this blackout. Reconnect them and see it the cable is not being pulled down by other cables or if the length of the cable is sufficient for the distance between your PC and Monitor.

I'm pretty sure the HDMI cable is not the cause as the system is stationary/not moving/no movement when this happened.
The last time this happened, which was before I water-cooled the GPU, the fan will spin 100% for a couple of minutes.
After that, when the fan speed drops back to normal, the screen turns back on.
Happened a few times, so I unplug the 6pin power connector and uses the 2nd 6pin power connectors and works.
Around 2wks after I've changed the 6pin power connector, I watercooled the GPU.
It was running smoothly for 4mths and few days ago, this happened again.

As for the monitor power supply, the monitor was still "ON" when this happened, it cant detect HDMI signal from the PC as the screen shows HDMI no signal.
