Hi I recently bought a new pc
I have GTX 940mx, intel i5 7th gen, 8gb ram
I have recently updated my drivers too but I still can't play far cry 4 without lag even at low graphics
Please help

Are you gaming on a laptop/desktop. I believe that gtx 940 is mostly used in laptops. Which Far Cry are you playing? It wouldn't hurt to have another 8gb of ram, it would smooth things out I think. On the graphics card do you know if it is DDR3 or DDR5? In laptops, vendors tend to install the DDR3 version of the 940MX in the low-end laptops. The DDR5 version is about 20% faster and would be found in the higher-end laptops.

Playing games on the ordinary laptop such as one that you have may result in inferior performance levels with ordinary I mean laptops with not good graphics cards. 940MX is a low-end budget friendly graphics chip which only works for video playback and higher resolutions only.
