Hey everyone, anyone know which RAM runs at 3200MHZ with no issues on the MSI mobo? Trying to find 16gb of RAM that won't cost me an arm and a leg. The cheapest I seen is a G.Skill Ripjaws V for 180, but I don't know if it's able to run at 3200MHZ. Any suggestions on which one to get? I will be running it with Ryzen 5 2400g APU.

I looked for the QVL list for your motherboard and could not find it.
That list should tell you what ram has been tested and is supported.
If you can find the list, look for a supported 16gb kit that runs 3200.

Otherwise, try corsair, Kingston, patriot, crucial , .....which all should have a similar app.

I run Corsair Vengeance 3200MHz DDR4 on an almost identical rig. Please note though that you may need to go into the BIOS settings in order to set the Memory multiplier to 32.00 to ensure it's running it 3200MHz.

That only cost an arm and two legs. I'm looking more around the 180 range since that's the cheapest price at the monent. This is my 1st PC build and it's a budget PC. So far I have spend 335 on my case, motherboard, apu, and power supply. Looking to spend 500 to 600. I just need the Ram and a ssd drive. So far my setup....

Case: Cooler Master MasterBox Pro
Mobo: MSI B350 Tomahawk
Apu: Ryzen 5 2400g
Power supply: Seasonic 520w
Fan: Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML120L RGB

then the cheapest one wont run at 3200 mhz the best option for you is to get a set in you price range that will at least run at 3200mhz with samsung b-die on .see this https://www.reddit.com/r/Amd/comments/62vp2g/clearing_up_any_samsung_bdie_confusion_eg_on/

geofelt, well it doesn't have to be a G.Skill. That's just the cheapest I seen. I just want to find something that runs 3200mhz and be stable and stick around my budget for my build.

If you want to keep costs down you don't NEED 16gb. A dual-channel 8gb 3200MHz kit ran perfectly fine for me and I have seen no issues since. You may squeeze more performance out of Ryzen doing it this way, as you very rarely saturate all 8gb anyway, and the faster speed and dual-channel will benefit the cpu (Ryzen is especially affected by RAM).
