(Disclaimer , This is the first PC I have built myself) I Have recently upgraded to ASUS ROG strix x370-f Mother board with a Ryzen 7 1800x and Ballistix Elite 32GB Kit (4 x 8GB) DDR4-3466 UDIMM , 650W power supply. I first had 16 Gb of the ram in at first and could only get it to run stable at 3200MHz. I recently decided to add the other 16 to bring it up to 32GB under the same settings. It worked fine for about 3 hours now randomly the PC like bricks itself. It doesnt shut off its just there is no visual imput and the changing LED's stay stagnant, the power or reset button stops working and i have to switch off at the wall. I have tried Reducing the clock of the ram lower to the 2000's range and i still get the same problem? why could this be?

I have tried updating the bios running windows updates and driver updates. This morning my PC wouldnt turn on even until I removed the CMOS battery ( I Think, Had to take the whole thing apart). After that I reassembled and it all seemed to work fine for hours then randomly just did the same as last time. The system wasn't even under load, I rand memory benchmarks and CPU and GPU and its all fine , then randomly whilst on chrome same problem. All settings in BIOs are the recommended ones and everything is left on auto. This is really frustrating! I cant diagnose this problem feel like ive tried everything! :(

Well considering the CPU and Motherboard work fine with 16GB at 3466 doesn't make sense that it crashes when running 32GB at 3466-2133 ? ive even checked all the sticks and they are fine too.

I'm living abroad at the moment and just got home and I brought a new PSU 1000W 80+ Gold to see if that would help. It didnt its still crashing randomly . I looked around alot on line they said it was called a cold crash usually caused by fluctuations of power delivery to the CPU but it cant be that now with the new power surply :( Im trying to RMA the CPU at the moment. Just wish I knew what was actually wrong with it. Feels like I'm stabbing in the dark.
