Hello!

I'm a film music composer and I just bought a laptop for composing and the audio quality is so poor on it. On my old PC there is a sound effects option in Realtek which doesn't appear on my laptop and that's what causes the issue. I heard from one of my friends that it appears only if I use stereo speakers. Otherwise I always plug my stereo my speakers in, but It looks like my laptop detects those as an analog speaker. I didn't have this problem om my pc and I use the same speakers.
I hope someone can help me.

Thanks in advance!
Have a nice day!

Solution
If they aren't showing, it is possible the 3.5mm port on the laptop is not the best. Sadly that is quite common. You may want to try getting a 3.5mm to USB adapter and connect that way.
Have you tried going into "Control Panel" then "Sound". Click on the speakers in the items listed connected (the external ones) and then click "Configure". That should give you some help.

You might also want to check to make sure you have the correct drivers installed.

It shows only the speakers of my laptop, not the ones that are plugged in. It also doesn't show up at the blocked devices. If I'm not mistaken both should be shown individually, but one is missing.
I also tried reinstalling the Realtek Audio Manager, but I still have this issue.
