Cannot Install Drivers. No intel(R) Adapters are present in this computer

Hi.

Just installed new components now when trying to install network drivers comes up with this 'Cannot Install Drivers. No intel(R) Adapters are present in this computer '

Generally, if the device does not appear in Device Manager after you have installed all other motherboard drivers, there are only two possible causes: it has been disabled in BIOS (but note that on default it should be enabled, unless you or someone else has changed it) or the board is faulty. Btw, are you by any chance using Windows install from old machine? If yes, it could be the cause. It is strongly recommended to do a clean Windows install after motherboard change.

New windows, no one has messed about with it so must br faulty mb no lights on ethernet port either
