Netgear router facing problem

Solution
If you suspect faulty router, quickest way to ascertain that is replace it with a borrowed or spare one - - - if that works okay you know what to do next.

I always keep a spare router in my spares cupboard just for that purpose - - - by the way, in my experience Netgear routers keep dropping WiFi after a few months - - needs restarting to restore it but next day same thing happens.

I dumped my Netgear and decided to spend more on a top-end replacement - - a £200 wall-mounted Billion router - brilliant & worth every penny.
