HW: Asus Z270F

2x8gb corsair vengaence lpx DDR4

Hi guys, I turned on my pc this morning and even if the lights went on, it didn't beep. Monitor stayed black. So I cleared the CMOS, unplugged all my HDDs but one, and tried moving the ram around a bit. End result, the Z270F now only reads one of the two memory banks, I'm running on single channel 8gb. If I phisically remove one of the two banks the motherboard won't allow me to boot, it will be stuck with its orange led on and will beep as to signal that something is not working as it should.
Any idea?

I forgot to mention: rig's been working for ages now so I guess the problem is not with bent pins or other stuff like that, it hasn't been touched in any way since it was put together and this was months ago. I haven't been overclocking anything since it was not allowing me to play certain games.

Sorry for the thread revive. I ordered a different motherboard (ASRock B250 Pro4) and tried to install everything on it. At first it didn't start with the two RAM banks in dual channel, so I decided to install them in slots 3 and 4. It did work at first, I played for a while, then it freezed and I shut it down. I tried to turn it back on but it kept on resetting after a fraction of seconds. So I decided to try different slots for the RAM and it seems to have a problem with one specific bank. I'll probably RMA the RAM as well so that I kill every possible problem.
