My internet Connection randomly drops whenever it wants to. Sometimes its up in 10 minutes sometimes its been a half hour since its been up. We have reset the modem. If you have a solution please describe in steps how i can do something because im not great at this type of thing. We have Xfinity and the Xfinity modem. I just found out my firewall was off so i turned that back on to see if that may address the problem.

Below i just copied and pasted a bunch of information about my network from my computer.

Solution
1st, adsl - call phone company for line test? possible exchange issue/baud rate too high and signal interference can cause your internet signal to drop - ask isp to reduce (this will reduce your dl speed btw but become more stable - and thats if they have access to change the baud, many isp dont because they dont want phone operators any access to 'sensitive' settings).
if you have a cable modem, then your isp should be able to directly access your router and find the issue themselves.

2nd, check cables are secure/working, and/or replace them with spares to see if the issue is solved.

3rd, some 'cheap' routers/modems exhibit connection issues when they warm up after prolonged use, which means any 'bad' router/modem could be heating...

are you using wifi or cable to connect to your box?
is this cable or adsl phone line?
have you got filters on your phone ports if this is adsl?
have you replaced cables from wall to router/modem?
have you checked that router/modem isnt becoming warm/hot after very little on time?
