Looking for a saving solution

I have installed Need for Speed Payback on my PC but if I shut down the laptop, there is no save data and I have to start over. It shows the autosave icon during game play but I wonder why there is no saving taking place. Solution?

It seems you must be using a cracked version of the game which does not save game data in your registry. It usually happens when the game registry is not synchronized with windows and after every pc restart, it asks for a fresh start. The best answer would be to get a proper installer and install the game.
