What kind of pricedrop can I expect when the new generations are coming?

So I want to buy either a GTX 1050 Ti or a GTX 1060.
But since the new GPU generations are coming, I am considering to wait until the price drops.

But when and how much can I expect the price to drop?
Will it be as significant as ~50€ or will it be less?

PS: Oh, and another thing, if you had to choose between those two
msi-geforce-gtx-1050-ti
palit-geforce-gtx-1050-ti-kalmx
- what would your choice be and why?

Nobody can tell you with certainty how much it is going to drop. That is, if it drops at all. So, holding back your purchase on that factor alone, is not viable. You should be prepared to shell out the same price as now, but you should wait hoping that it drops.

For the card, I would go with MSI, as they are tried and tested and a much more renowned brand than Palit.
