I'm in music production and have recently ordered stuff for new build pc. However I noticed information about my 8g ddr3 1866hz not being compatible with my asus m5a78l-m/usb3 mobo with AMD FX 4170 CPU If overclocking occurs.
Can I turn overclocking off??

Solution
From Asus website:
* AMD FX Series CPU on this motherboard supports up to DDR3 1866MHz as its standard memory frequency.
So thats just information that you wont be able to clock it higer. (By default its not overclocked so you dont need to turn anything off)

Just reset CMOS/BIOS, you'll find how in MB's manual. Also check manual but pressing probably F5 while in BIOS should also bring it to factory defaults or some other F function for Optimized factory defaults.
