CPU cooler wont latch?

So recently I got a Deepcool Ice Edge Mini FS 2.0 which is universal (supports most sockets) but when I tried to place it on my motherboard (FM2/FM2+) it latches on one side but on the other side the latches dont reach.

You need a lot of force, thats why i prefer noctua, very easy to install without needing force, just mount screws.
Back to topic, you need to push really hard on the moving part untill you managed to latch it.

Same thing with my deepcool gamaxx 300. You need to push very hard on the tab to the poimt where the bracket bends and latches unto the socket.

Onething that you can try is to loosen the socket mount brackets a little then mount the cooler and then tighten the screws ao that you dont put any extra pressure. But this method is risky as if you dont tighten the correct amount then coller may fall.
